Emanuel J. DeFreitas
Managing Partner
Emanuel J. DeFreitas, CPA, CFP became a partner of the parent firm in 1993. He has extensive experience in working with privately-held businesses and their owners. Manny specializes in business, individual, and estate taxes and planning. Manny is also a CFP, a member of the AICPA and NYS Society of CPAs. Manny is a proud graduate of St. John’s University.
He is currently the President of Network Long Island. He also serves as a member of various charitable and service organizations such as the Mineola Lions, Mineola Chamber of Commerce, and the Oyster Bay Knights of Columbus.
Jay Minsky
Partner
Jay Minsky, CPA Joined the firm in December 2001 and became a partner in 2008. He has more than thirty-five years of experience in public accounting; some of his areas of expertise are in small business operations, business taxes, and individual taxation. He also has extensive experience working with individuals and small business owners to meet their estate and financial planning needs.
Jay is a graduate of Long Island University, CW Post Campus, and has held a CPA license in New York since 1982. He has been a long-time member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and is a past president of both the Garden City Jewish Center and the Kiwanis Club of the Williston’s. Jay is currently on the board of directors of the Business Networking Group.
