Akintomi A. Olugbodi, MD, is a fellowship-trained Interventional Pain Medicine Physician, a Neurologist, and an Internist.

Dr. Akintomi Olugbodi

Akintomi A. Olugbodi, MD, (Dr. O) is a fellowship-trained Interventional Pain Medicine Physician, a Neurologist and an Internist, which allows him to provide the most comprehensive diagnosis in determining the origins of pain and the best solutions for pain relief. His education and experience offer a unique perspective to healing.

Dr. Olugbodi earned his medical degree, as well as his residency training in Internal Medicine and Neurology, from Obafemi Awolowo University of Nigeria. His board-certification in fellowship training in Neurology is through the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.

On relocation to the United States, Dr. Olugbodi completed another residency in Internal Medicine at the Reading Hospital (Tower Health) with board certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He worked as an Internist at the Reading Hospital before he went on to receive his fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He is board-certified in Interventional Pain Medicine.

Dr. Olugbodi’s professional affiliations include the Spine Intervention Society, American College of Physicians and the American Academy of Neurology. He is published in peer-reviewed journals and has presented research work at numerous national and international conferences.
